Zoho has added semantic and ontology layers to Zoho Analytics, according to Express Computer. The semantic layer defines business terms and metrics. The ontology layer maps organisational structures and relationships, giving AI agents context to answer queries. Zoho said teams can create and edit multiple semantic models without code or a separate cloud data warehouse.
Ask Zia now uses six specialised sub-agents for data analysis, modelling, visualisation, data preparation, coding and SQL generation. Businesses can build custom agents and connect them to internal and external systems through MCP.
The platform adds 30 data connectors on top of its more than 500 existing ones. New sources include Zoho ERP, Zoho Voice, SAP, PayPal and Twilio. Administrators get a Data Catalog, AI observability, usage and cost tracking, and sandbox testing with rollback. Organisations can choose Zoho's language model or other frontier models for Ask Zia.
