Salesforce launches Partner FDE training for AI agents in Korea

Salesforce said it will introduce Partner FDE, a training program for AI agent specialists, in Korea for the first time, according to CHOSUNBIZ. A forward deployed engineer designs, builds, deploys, operates and optimizes AI agents on customer sites.

The first Seoul workshop ran from the 13th to the 15th with 44 engineers and consultants from 11 domestic system integration and consulting partners. Participants must hold Agentforce Specialist and Data 360 Consultant certifications, then complete about 80 hours of technical learning, exams and a final practical assignment. Those who pass receive the Agentforce FDE Practitioner qualification.

Four Korean partners are set to join the Korea Partner FDE network. Salesforce's goal is to train more than 100 experts in Korea next year. Globally, more than 1,000 professionals at 140 partners have earned certifications.

What it means

If you use Salesforce Sales Cloud. Korean teams using Agentforce can draw on a growing pool of partner engineers certified to build and run AI agents.

What to do. Ask your Salesforce partner whether its engineers hold the Agentforce FDE Practitioner qualification before scoping an agent project.

Watch for. Four Korean partners are set to join the network, and Salesforce targets more than 100 Korean experts next year.
