SmartSuite
No-code work platform where teams build CRM, project, IT and GRC apps from templates. Team plan from $15/seat/mo (annual, 3-seat minimum).
What is SmartSuite?
SmartSuite is a no-code work platform. Teams build "solutions", which are linked tables with views, forms, automations and dashboards, either from templates or from scratch. A sales solution tracks accounts, contacts, opportunities and activities with stage workflows, approvals and quote documents, and AI Assist writes deal summaries and next-step suggestions. The same workspace also hosts project, IT service and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) apps.
Who is it for?
Teams that want one configurable tool for sales, operations and projects, and companies that need GRC or IT workflows next to their CRM. SmartSuite says 2,000+ businesses in 100+ countries use it. Sales teams that want built-in calling, sequences or email tracking should look at a dedicated sales CRM.

Strengths
- Free read-only users: viewers, commenters and form submitters don't need a paid seat.
- One workspace for several teams: CRM, projects, IT service and GRC apps share data and automations.
- Integrations: native connectors include Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Jira and Intercom, plus Zapier and Make.
- Enterprise controls: SSO, SCIM, audit logs, IP restrictions and EU data residency on Enterprise.
- Dated product updates on the What's New page.
What to consider
- It is a general no-code platform; pipelines, fields and automations have to be configured before the CRM works.
- Gmail and Outlook integrations need Professional at $32/seat/mo.
- Team caps each solution at 5,000 records, which a contact database can reach quickly.
- Seat minimums apply: 3 users on Team, 5 on Professional.
- SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only.
Bottom line
Shortlist SmartSuite if you want one no-code tool for CRM plus projects, IT or compliance work and can spend time configuring it. Before buying, count your records per solution to see whether Team's 5,000 limit holds.
