Pricing breakdown

Re:amaze Pricing Explained (2026)

Re:amaze starts at $59/mo flat for unlimited agents, but the 500-conversation cap pushes growing stores onto $29/agent seats faster than most expect.

Re:amaze plans and list pricing
PlanPriceBillingWhat you get
Starter $59/mo flat rate, unlimited team members 500 responded conversations/month, email, live chat, social inbox, chatbots

What you are actually paying for: conversations, then seats

Re:amaze runs two pricing models side by side and picking the wrong one is the main way teams overspend here. Starter is a flat $59/month for as many team members as you like, metered on responded conversations — 500 per month. Basic, Pro and Plus are conventional per-agent plans with no conversation cap at all.

That means the cost driver flips depending on your shape. A five-person store handling 300 tickets a month pays $59 total on Starter. The same store at 900 tickets a month cannot stay on Starter and jumps to $145/month on Basic. Volume is the trigger, not headcount — which is the opposite of how most helpdesk pricing behaves.

Worth knowing: "responded conversation" means a thread your team replied to inside the billing month. Spam you never touch does not count. A single customer who emails you four separate times about four separate orders counts four times.

A worked example at three volumes

Monthly volume 2 agents 5 agents 12 agents
300 conversations Starter, $59 Starter, $59 Starter, $59
900 conversations Basic, $58 Basic, $145 Basic, $348
900 conversations + SMS Pro, $98 Pro, $245 Pro, $588

The interesting cell is 2 agents at 900 conversations: Basic actually costs $58, a dollar less than Starter, and removes the cap entirely. If you are a two-person team, Starter is only worth it while you stay well under 500.

Basic to Pro: pay it for channels, not reporting

The $20/agent gap between Basic and Pro is easy to justify if you need any of three things — a second brand, SMS or voice in the inbox, or a custom support domain. Those are structural; you cannot work around them.

It is much harder to justify for reporting alone. Pro's "advanced reporting" is a step up from Basic but not a step up from what Gorgias or Help Scout give you at similar money. If your only complaint about Basic is the dashboards, try exporting to a spreadsheet before spending $240/year per agent.

Pro to Plus is a narrower case. Departments, custom roles, shift scheduling and CSAT ratings are genuinely useful once you are past roughly eight agents working in rotations. Under that, most teams are paying $20/agent for features their org chart is too flat to use.

Billing terms and the annual question

Annual billing knocks 10% off the per-agent tiers. There is no minimum seat count, no setup fee and no contract — Re:amaze is explicit that plans are month-to-month and cancellable. That 10% is genuinely modest for this category, so if you are unsure whether Re:amaze will stick, the monthly premium is a cheap option to keep.

Starter has no annual discount to speak of, since it is already a flat rate.

Who this suits and who it punishes

It suits a Shopify or BigCommerce store with a small, sometimes-seasonal team and steady ticket volume under 500 a month. $59 flat for unlimited helpers is genuinely hard to beat — Gorgias and Zendesk both charge per seat from the first user.

It punishes two profiles. First, low-headcount but high-volume teams: two agents handling 2,000 conversations get no benefit from Starter's unlimited seats and pay full per-agent rates anyway. Second, teams leaning hard on AI deflection on the Basic plan, where five included resolutions per user runs out almost immediately and $0.85 each compounds quietly.

On accuracy

Every figure above was read from Re:amaze's own pricing page in July 2026. Helpdesk vendors reprice AI features more often than they reprice seats, so treat the $0.85 resolution rate as the number most likely to have moved. Check reamaze.com/pricing before you commit budget — their page is the authority, not ours.

What the pricing page doesn't show

  • Starter's 500-conversation ceiling counts responded conversations, not tickets closed. A busy Black Friday week can eat a month's allowance in days.
  • AI resolutions are metered per user, not pooled generously — Basic gives 5 per user per month, and every extra resolution is $0.85 with no volume discount published.
  • Annual billing saves 10%, which is lower than the 15-20% most helpdesk vendors offer. Prepaying a year here buys less than it does at Freshdesk or Zendesk.
  • SMS and voice channels are gated to Pro. If you need a phone number in the inbox, the real entry price is $49/agent, not $29.
  • Multi-brand is a Pro feature. Running two Shopify stores off one Basic account is not possible — you either pay Pro or run two subscriptions.

Frequently asked questions

Does Re:amaze have a free plan?
No. Re:amaze offers a 14-day free trial with full access to Plus features and no credit card required, but there is no permanent free tier. After the trial you pick Starter or a per-agent plan.
Is the $59 Starter plan really unlimited agents?
Yes — Starter puts no cap on team members. The constraint is conversation volume: 500 responded conversations per month across the whole account. It is designed for small stores with many part-time helpers, not high-volume support desks.
How much do I save by paying annually?
10%. Basic drops from $29 to $26.10 per user per month, Pro from $49 to $44.10, and Plus from $69 to $62.10. There is no contract requirement — month-to-month is the default and you can cancel anytime.
What happens when I exceed the AI resolution allowance?
Each additional AI resolution bills at $0.85. Your included allowance scales with your plan — 5 per user on Basic, 10 on Pro, 20 on Plus — so heavy chatbot deflection is cheaper on a higher tier than on Basic with overages.
When should I move from Starter to Basic?
When you consistently pass roughly 500 conversations a month, or when you need a second brand, SMS, or per-agent reporting. Below about two agents, Starter is cheaper. At three agents Basic costs $87/month and buys unlimited volume.
