Monday CRM adds bulk board role updates to its API

Monday CRM added two API mutations in version 2026-10 that set board roles for many users or teams in one call. update_users_board_role handles up to 200 user IDs, and update_teams_board_role handles up to 50 team IDs. Both require the boards:write scope.

The users or teams must already be subscribed to the board. Developers can subscribe them first with add_users_to_board or add_teams_to_board. The mutations change a role; they do not grant access.

Roles are editor, contributor or viewer. Only update_users_board_role accepts member, and only for agent users. assigned_contributor is not supported yet.

Each call returns successful IDs and a failure list with an error message for each ID.

What it means

If you use Monday CRM. Integrations that set board roles one user or team at a time can batch requests, up to 200 users or 50 teams per call.
What to do. Subscribe users and teams to the board first, then check the failure list after every call.
Watch for. assigned_contributor is not supported yet, and the source gives no date for its support.
