Monday CRM lets developers ask its API which dependency cycles exist on a board. The new board_dependency_cycles query is available in API version 2027-01 and takes a board_id.
The response lists each cycle as an ordered path of items, so teams can find the items involved and fix their links. Each link reports a type: FS, SS, FF, SF, or HIERARCHY for parent and subitem links. The type is null when the stored link type is not recognized.
An empty list means the board was checked and has no cycles. The truncated field returns true when the board has more cycles than the reporting cap allows, so the list is incomplete.
