Salesloft moves Zoom recording to RTMS with no bot

Salesloft now records Zoom meetings for Conversation Intelligence through Zoom Real-Time Media Streams (RTMS) instead of a meeting bot. The meeting streams through a Zoom app, so no bot appears in the participant list. Salesloft announced the change in its November 10, 2026 release notes.

Users who recorded Zoom meetings with the bot move to RTMS by default, with no Salesloft-side setup. A Zoom admin must approve the Salesloft CI app and turn on "Share realtime meeting content with apps" under Account Settings > Zoom Apps. Recorder Settings still decide which meetings are recorded.

Zoom shows participants a disclosure message. Anyone in the meeting can pause or stop the app from the Active Apps Notifier. The host may need to approve the app, depending on Zoom settings.

What it means

If you use Salesloft. Zoom meetings previously recorded with the bot switch to RTMS by default, so no bot joins calls.

What to do. Ask your Zoom admin to approve the Salesloft CI app and enable realtime content sharing under Zoom Apps.

Watch for. The source marks Zoom-side steps as "to be modified," so confirm them in Zoom before rollout.
