Salesforce signed an agreement on Oct. 12 to acquire Loops, an Israeli artificial intelligence startup. Loops identifies changes in business performance and shows which updates help or hurt results.

Salesforce plans to integrate Loops into Tableau. According to the source, the new features would monitor performance indicators, explain why metrics change and identify improvement opportunities. Loops insights could also reach teams through Slack.

Salesforce has not disclosed the purchase price. Press estimates put the deal at $30 million. According to Yahoo Finance, the deal is expected to close in November, during Salesforce's 2027 fiscal year. Loops would be the 10th Israeli company Salesforce has acquired.
