A team of ten pays $200 a month for HubSpot Starter at list price, and $250 for Salesforce Starter Suite. Where forecasting starts, the order flips. HubSpot Professional costs $900 a month plus a $1,500 onboarding fee, and Salesforce Pro Suite costs $1,000 with no onboarding fee on its pricing page. Three things move the bill from there: onboarding, API access and the Premier Success support plan.

Below are both price lists and three teams of ten priced on each CRM. All prices are in US dollars per seat per month, billed annually unless marked. HubSpot CRM prices were checked on 10 October 2026 at hubspot.com/pricing/sales. Salesforce Sales Cloud prices were checked on 10 October 2026 at salesforce.com/sales/pricing/. The pages we checked do not state tax treatment.

The seat price

HubSpot CRM

Plan Per seat a month 10 seats a month One-time onboarding What matters for cost

Enterprise $150 $1,500 $3,500 5,000 HubSpot Credits; forecasting across team hierarchies

The $7 Starter rate is a new-customer offer, not the list price. WeekCRM's HubSpot pricing page says it reverts after the first term.

Salesforce Sales Cloud

Plan Per user a month 10 users a month Annual total What matters for cost
Free Suite $0 $0 $0 The live page lists no user cap; WeekCRM's background page gives 2 users
Starter Suite $25, billed monthly or annually $250 $3,000 Lead and opportunity management; built-in sales flows and lead routing
Pro Suite $100, billed annually $1,000 $12,000 Sales quoting and forecasting; Flow Builder capped at 5 flows per org; API $25 extra per user

Max $550, contact sales $5,500 $66,000 2.75M Flex Credits a year; Agentforce for Sales

Salesforce's trial of Starter Suite covers up to 10 users, so a 10-person team can test it at no cost.

Onboarding: $1,500 on HubSpot Professional

HubSpot's pricing page marks Professional onboarding as required and one-time, at $1,500. Enterprise onboarding is $3,500. Starter has no onboarding fee on the page.

On Professional, the first-year total is $900 × 12 + $1,500 = $12,300. Year two is $10,800. The fee adds 14% to year one.

The Salesforce pricing page lists no onboarding fee. Its FAQ points buyers to a sales call for add-ons and extra products.

The API line on Salesforce Pro Suite

Pro Suite includes no API access. The pricing page lists Web Services API as an extra $25 per user a month. For 10 users that is $250 a month, which takes Pro Suite from $1,000 to $1,250.

Core includes APIs, according to the Core FAQ. At 10 users, the API add-on on Pro Suite costs the same as the $25 step between... no, the API add-on costs $3,000 a year, which narrows the gap to Core's $195 seat price for teams that need integrations. Core costs $1,950 a month, $700 above Pro Suite with the API.

Premier Success: 30% of net licence fees

Standard Success is included with every Salesforce licence. Premier Success costs 30% of net licence fees, and the pricing page marks it available for purchase on Pro Suite. It includes expert guidance and 24/7 support for business-stopping issues.

On Core at list price, 10 seats make $23,400 a year in licences. Premier at 30% adds $7,020 a year. Net licence fees are after discounts, so $7,020 is the most this line costs at list price.

Credits: two different meters

HubSpot Credits pay for AI features and agents. The page lists 500 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise. WeekCRM's pricing page says the allowance is per account, not per seat. The live page does not list credit pack prices.

Salesforce Flex Credits pay for AI and data use. They are listed per org per year: 500,000 on Core, 1,000,000 on Advanced and 2,750,000 on Max. Starter and Pro Suite list none on the comparison table.

HubSpot's Revenue Hub offer

HubSpot's pricing page shows a banner for new Sales Hub and Revenue Hub customers only. Buying Sales Hub with annual billing gets Revenue Hub Professional at $57 a seat a month, down from $95. For 10 seats that is $570 a month, or $6,840 a year. This is not in the totals below.

Three teams of ten

1. Pipeline only: $70 to $250 a month.

The team logs deals, runs a few workflows and sends no outbound sequences. It needs no forecasting and no API.

HubSpot Starter Salesforce Starter Suite
Seats a month 10 × $20 = $200 at list; 10 × $7 = $70 at the new-customer rate 10 × $25 = $250
Total a month $200 at list; $70 at the new-customer rate $250
Total a year $2,400 at list; $840 at the new-customer rate $3,000

HubSpot costs $50 a month less at list price. At the new-customer rate it costs $180 less, though that rate reverts after the first term.

2. Forecasting, no integrations: $900 a month on HubSpot, $1,000 on Salesforce.

The team needs forecasting and nothing else. Forecasting appears in HubSpot's Professional feature list and in Salesforce's Pro Suite list, so both teams buy that tier.

HubSpot Professional Salesforce Pro Suite
Seats a month 10 × $90 = $900 10 × $100 = $1,000
One-time onboarding $1,500 none listed
Year one $12,300 ($10,800 + $1,500) $12,000
Year two $10,800 $12,000

Salesforce costs $300 less in year one. HubSpot costs $1,200 less from year two on. If the team needs API access, Pro Suite rises by $3,000 a year to $15,000.

3. Core with API access and Premier Success: $30,420 a year on Salesforce, $21,500 in year one on HubSpot Enterprise.

The team needs advanced forecasting, API access and expedited support. Core includes APIs, and the Core FAQ lists advanced forecasting. HubSpot Enterprise adds forecasting across team hierarchies.

HubSpot Enterprise Salesforce Core
Seats a month 10 × $150 = $1,500 10 × $195 = $1,950
One-time onboarding $3,500 none listed
Premier Success not priced on the pages checked 30% × $23,400 = $7,020 a year at list
Year one $21,500 ($18,000 + $3,500) $30,420 ($23,400 + $7,020)
Year two $18,000 $30,420

Enterprise costs $8,920 less in year one and $12,420 less in year two. The HubSpot page does not price Enterprise support, so the comparison is licence and onboarding only.

Where each one is cheaper

HubSpot is cheaper for a team of ten that needs forecasting or Enterprise features. Professional costs $900 a month against Pro Suite's $1,000, and it is $1,200 a year cheaper from year two. Enterprise costs $12,420 a year less than Core with Premier Success, from year two on.

Salesforce is cheaper in year one of the forecasting team. Pro Suite costs $12,000 in year one against $12,300 on HubSpot Professional. Once the team needs API access, the picture changes: Pro Suite with API costs $15,000 a year, more than HubSpot Professional's $10,800 from year two on.

What to check before you sign

  1. HubSpot Starter after the first term. The $7 rate reverts to $20 per seat, so the 10-seat cost goes from $70 to $200 a month.
  2. Forecasting on the tier you buy. HubSpot lists forecasting on Professional. Salesforce lists it on Pro Suite. Confirm the feature list on the day you sign.
  3. API access on Salesforce. Pro Suite adds $25 a user. Core includes it, so compare Core against Pro with the add-on.
  4. Premier Success on Salesforce. Ask for the net licence fee and the Premier price. At list, it is $7,020 a year for Core.
  5. Credit allowances. Compare the HubSpot Credits and Salesforce Flex Credits your workflows and AI use will draw on each month.
