Vendasta renames Local SEO to SEO AI and adds Premium edition

Vendasta renames Local SEO to SEO AI on November 2, 2026, with three editions: Standard, Pro and a new Premium. Standard and Pro keep their current features under the new names. Pro keeps listings sync on 6 platforms, 15 tracked keywords and the local rank grid.

SEO AI Premium adds the AI Search Specialist to everything in Pro. The specialist reads a business's website, fills in listing details, picks 10 keywords and updates every connected listing. Brand Visibility, SEO and AEO reports show how a business appears in AI answers against named competitors, refreshed on the last business day of each month.

Blogs, FAQs, schema and robots.txt edits run end to end only on Vendasta WordPress sites hosted on WP Cloud. Other platforms have no date yet. Backlinks remain a human service.

The AI Search Specialist open beta ends October 30. Beta reports move to chat and will not appear in Local SEO Pro after that date.

What it means

If you use Vendasta. Local SEO Standard and Pro users keep their features under new names from November 2, 2026. Beta users lose AI Search Specialist access in Local SEO Pro after October 30.

What to do. Upgrade to SEO AI Premium in Partner Center from November 2 to keep the AI Search Specialist.

Watch for. The open beta ends October 30, 2026. Premium reports start the day Premium is turned on.
