HighLevel adds per-contact media to WhatsApp templates

HighLevel now lets WhatsApp template media headers pull a different file for each contact. Headers accept custom fields and dynamic values instead of one fixed public URL. The value resolves at send time, so one approved template can serve every contact's invoice, ticket or image.

The template builder is also rebuilt. Category, body, media, buttons and variables now sit on one page, with a live phone preview that updates as you type.

Dynamic media works in workflows, conversations, bulk actions, calendar appointments, reputation review requests and missed call text back. The resolved URL must be publicly reachable by Meta. Private Drive links, URLs behind a login and empty fields fail with a clear error.

What it means

If you use HighLevel. Teams sending WhatsApp documents or personalized images can use one approved template with a dynamic media value instead of many templates.

What to do. Check that each contact's media field holds a public HTTPS URL before your next bulk send.

Watch for. Private Drive links, login-protected URLs and empty fields will fail to send.
