HighLevel adds carousel templates to WhatsApp

HighLevel now lets WhatsApp marketing templates show up to ten cards in one message. Each card carries its own image or video, optional text and up to two buttons. Customers swipe through the cards inside the chat.

WhatsApp bills one marketing message for the whole carousel, not one per card. A ten-card carousel also counts once against messaging limits.

Quick reply buttons fire a webhook that HighLevel can route into a workflow, so teams can follow up on the card a customer tapped. Website buttons can take a separate link variable for each card.

The card count is locked at Meta approval. Every card must match: if one card has body text or two buttons, all cards need them. Build a carousel under Settings → WhatsApp → Templates by choosing the Marketing category and Carousel type.

What it means

If you use HighLevel. Promotions that show several offers can now go out as one WhatsApp message, billed as one marketing message.

What to do. Create a carousel template under Settings → WhatsApp → Templates, choosing Marketing and Carousel type.

Watch for. The card count is fixed at Meta approval, so a four-card version needs a separate template.
