OpenCRM has introduced new email capabilities within its Assets module, enabling users to send emails directly from an Asset record without navigating away from the screen. The update includes support for merge variables that can be inserted into outgoing messages.
Beyond one-off emails, the release adds Email Plans for automating Asset-related communications on a defined schedule. A Conditional Email Plans feature allows emails to trigger automatically when specific criteria are met, reducing manual follow-up for teams managing asset-linked customer relationships.
