Oracle Fusion Service
Oracle Fusion Cloud Service combines service reps and AI agents across self-service, assisted support, field service and internal help desks. Built for large enterprises already on Oracle Fusion Applications.
What is Oracle Fusion Service?
Oracle Fusion Service (marketed as Oracle Fusion Cloud Service) is Oracle's customer service application and the successor of Oracle Service Cloud, formerly RightNow. It covers digital self-service, assisted support, field service and internal help desks in one workspace, and AI agents handle triage, routing, escalation and resolution. It shares one cloud and data model with the other Fusion Applications, so it needs no middleware or data replication to connect to them.
Who is it for?
Large organizations that run Oracle Fusion Applications and want service, field service and internal help desk in one system. Oracle names Republic Services, Johnson Controls, Badger Infrastructure Solutions and Pike Corporation as customers. Small and mid-size teams, and companies outside the Oracle stack, should look at lighter help desks.
Pricing
Oracle publishes no list prices for Fusion Service on its product page. Pricing is quote-based through Oracle sales. Prices checked on 6 October 2026.
Strengths
- Field service agents schedule, dispatch, create work orders and select parts.
- Resolution agents speed up case closure with troubleshooting and guided workflows.
- Self-help and triage agents handle intake, including attachment processing.
- Single data model with other Fusion Applications removes the replication layer between service and the rest of Oracle.
- Internal help desk supports structured requests with role-based access controls.
What to consider
- No public pricing, so you cannot compare cost before a sales conversation.
- The best fit depends on already running Oracle Fusion Applications; outside that stack the shared-data-model advantage disappears.
- Oracle's product page gives no seat counts, implementation times or plan tiers, so request them in writing.
- Customers of the older Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) should ask Oracle for a migration plan and timeline.
Bottom line
Shortlist Oracle Fusion Service if you are an Oracle Fusion customer that needs customer service, field service and an internal help desk in one data model. Before buying, get a written quote with the implementation scope and agent AI usage terms.
