Attio Pricing Explained (2026)

Attio is free for 3 users and $35/user/month on Plus, but the credit allowance attached to each plan is the number that decides what you really pay.

Two meters running side by side

Attio's pricing page reads cleanly — free, $35, $79, custom — and that clean surface hides the more interesting half of the model. Every plan carries a monthly credit allowance, and credits are what enrichment and AI actions spend. You are buying two things at once: the right for a person to log in, and the right for the system to do work on your data.

The allowances scale sharply. Free gives 100 seat credits per user and 250 workspace credits per month. Plus gives 500 and 1,500. Pro gives 1,000 and 10,000. Enterprise gives 2,500 seat credits with workspace credits negotiated. Note that the workspace pool grows far faster than the per-seat pool between Plus and Pro — 1,500 to 10,000, a 6.7x jump — because Attio expects Pro customers to be automating across the whole database, not just enriching what individual reps touch.

This is why two teams of identical size can pay very differently. A five-person team using Attio as a tidy contact database will never look at the credit meter. A five-person team running enrichment on every inbound signup and AI summarisation on every meeting will be buying top-up blocks by month three.

What headcount does to the bill

Because Plus caps at 10 users, the seat ladder has a cliff in it rather than a slope.

Team size Free Plus ($35) Pro ($79)
3 users $0/mo $105/mo $237/mo
10 users not available $350/mo $790/mo
11 users not available not available $869/mo

Going from ten users to eleven takes you from $350/month to $869/month — a 148% increase for one extra person, because the eleventh seat forces the whole workspace onto Pro. This is the single most important thing to model before you commit. If you are at eight or nine users and hiring, price Pro now rather than being surprised by it.

Add credit top-ups on top. A Plus workspace buying +10,000 workspace credits a month pays $120 on annual billing, which on a five-person team ($175/month in seats) is a 69% increase driven entirely by usage.

Where each tier earns its place

The free plan is unusually generous and worth taking seriously. Three users with real-time contact syncing and automatic enrichment covers a founding team's actual needs. It is not a 14-day countdown; it is a plan you can sit on while you decide. The honest limit is the 250 monthly workspace credits — enough to see what enrichment does, not enough to depend on it.

Free to Plus is worth it when either the third user becomes a fourth, or when the credit ceiling starts blocking automations you want to run every day. At $35/user, Plus is priced against mid-market CRMs while offering a materially more modern data model, and for a team of four to ten it is the sweet spot in this lineup.

Plus to Pro is the expensive step and, feature-wise, a narrower one: advanced reporting, call intelligence, and the large credit increase. If you are moving because you crossed ten users, you have no decision to make. If you are still under ten and considering it voluntarily, the question is whether reporting and call intelligence are worth $44 more per person per month — for a sales-led team with a real forecast to produce, often yes; for an ops team using Attio as a system of record, usually not.

Terms, commitment and negotiation

The annual discount is a flat 20% at both paid tiers, which is standard and worth taking once you are past evaluation. Enterprise is billed annually only, so flexibility disappears entirely at the top.

There is no seat minimum, which genuinely distinguishes Attio from much of the category. A single-person workspace on Plus costs $35/month, and that is the actual price — no phantom seats, no three-user floor. For solo operators and two-person startups, that alone can make Attio cheaper in practice than tools with lower headline rates.

Who should and should not buy this

Attio fits technical, data-minded teams — startups, VC firms, agencies — that want to model their own objects rather than accept someone else's contact-and-deal schema. The free tier makes it low-risk to try, the single-seat pricing makes it accessible to very small teams, and the enrichment layer removes work that other CRMs make you buy a separate tool for.

It punishes two profiles. Teams sitting just above ten users pay the Pro cliff for headcount reasons alone. And workflow-heavy teams that lean hard on enrichment and AI find the credit meter turns a predictable per-seat bill into a usage bill they have to watch — the same problem Intercom customers have with Fin, expressed in a different currency.

Attio ships changes fast and has revised both its tiers and its credit allowances before. Check attio.com/pricing for current numbers before you budget against these.

What the pricing page doesn't show

  • Credits, not seats, are the real meter. Enrichment and AI actions draw down a monthly allowance, and once a workspace is running automations at scale the top-up blocks become a permanent line item.
  • Workspace credit top-ups are priced steeply: +5,000/month is $70 on annual billing and +50,000/month is $475, which can rival the seat bill on a small team doing heavy enrichment.
  • Plus is capped at 10 users. Growing past ten people forces the jump to Pro at $79/user — a 126% per-seat increase driven by headcount, not by any feature you asked for.
  • Monthly billing is 25% more than annual at both paid tiers ($44 vs $35, $99 vs $79), and Enterprise is annual-only with no monthly option at all.
  • The free plan's 250 workspace credits per month are enough to evaluate enrichment, not to run on. Teams that build workflows on the free tier discover the ceiling quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Is Attio's free plan actually usable?
For a genuinely small team, yes. Three users, real-time contact syncing and automatic enrichment is a working CRM, not a demo. The constraint is credits: 100 per user plus 250 per workspace each month covers evaluation and light use, not a team running enrichment across a large database.
What are Attio credits and what uses them?
Credits are the currency for data enrichment and AI actions across the workspace. Each plan grants seat credits (per user, per month) plus workspace credits (shared, per month). Automations that enrich records or run AI steps consume them, which is why credit burn tracks workflow complexity rather than headcount.
Why would I pay $79 for Pro instead of $35 for Plus?
Two reasons, and only one is about features. Plus is capped at 10 users, so passing that headcount forces Pro regardless. Beyond that, Pro brings advanced reporting, call intelligence, 1,000 seat credits per user and 10,000 workspace credits — a nearly 7x credit increase that matters more than most of the feature list.
How much does annual billing save?
20% at both paid tiers: $35 versus $44 on Plus, $79 versus $99 on Pro. On a 10-user Plus workspace that is $1,080 a year. Enterprise is annual-only, so the question does not arise there.
Is there a seat minimum?
No. Attio will sell you a single Plus or Pro seat, which is unusual in this category — Monday CRM, for example, enforces a 3-seat floor. A solo founder can run Attio Plus for $35/month.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You buy top-up blocks of workspace credits, priced from $70/month for +5,000 up to $475/month for +50,000 on annual billing. Budget for this if enrichment is central to how you use the product — it is the least predictable part of an otherwise clean pricing model.
