Close has rolled out AI call scoring as part of its Predictive Dialer feature, available on Business and Enterprise plans.
What's new
Every outbound call made through Close's dialer is now automatically scored by AI on key metrics:
- Talk-to-listen ratio — how much the rep spoke vs. listened
- Objection handling — whether common objections were addressed
- Next steps — did the call end with a clear follow-up?
Scores appear on the call record and can be filtered in reporting. Managers can flag low-scoring calls for coaching review.
Why it matters
Call coaching has traditionally required managers to listen to recordings manually — a process that doesn't scale. With automatic scoring, teams can focus review time on the calls that need attention most.
For sales teams doing 50+ calls per day, this is a meaningful time saver.
Availability
AI call scoring is included at no extra cost for Business and Enterprise plan customers. Startup plan users do not have access.
