LiveAgent 5.69.5 adds on-demand translation of inbound messages. This is stage 1 of its message translation feature. The settings sit under Configuration > AI, where a bug had hidden the entry for some accounts.
A new AI agent tool, reply_via_instagram_dm, lets AI agents answer on the Instagram Direct Messages channel. Agents get a "Take over from AI" button in the chat action panel. It removes the AI operator without a transfer or ending the chat. The AI operator now also leaves a chat once a human transfer is accepted.
Voice now offers live call transcription with participant attribution.
Fixes include call recording downloads missing a file extension, Calls History CSV export failing on large histories, and repeated embed snippet runs creating duplicate widgets. The release also lists security improvements without details.
