A team of ten pays $390 a month for Pipedrive Growth on annual billing, and $900 a month for HubSpot Professional. HubSpot Professional also carries a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. That makes the gap $510 a month, or $7,620 in year one. Plan choice moves the bill most, followed by billing term and the onboarding fee.

Pipedrive's figures come from WeekCRM's copy of pipedrive.com/en/pricing, checked 7 October 2026. The vendor page did not load that day. HubSpot's figures come from hubspot.com/pricing/sales, checked 10 October 2026. All prices are in US dollars and billed annually unless marked. Pipedrive prices exclude VAT; the HubSpot page does not say.

Below are both price lists, the year-one fee, and three teams of ten priced on each.

The seat price

Pipedrive plan Annual, per seat Monthly, per seat 10 seats, annual 10 seats, monthly
Lite $14 $24 $140 $240
Growth $39 $49 $390 $490
Premium $59 $79 $590 $790
Ultimate $79 $99 $790 $990
HubSpot plan Per seat, per month 10 seats a month 10 seats a year
Free $0, up to 2 users not usable for 10 $0
Starter $20 (the page also shows $7) $200 $2,400
Professional $90 billed annually; $100 billed monthly on an annual commitment $900 annual; $1,000 monthly $10,800 annual; $12,000 monthly
Enterprise $150 $1,500 $18,000

Pipedrive Lite is not a like-for-like plan for a sales team. The sources give it no email sync and no workflow automation. Both start on Growth.

HubSpot's Starter card shows $7 and $20 per seat. The page does not say which billing term each figure covers, so this guide budgets the $20 list price. If the $7 offer applies to your term, ten seats cost $70 a month.

Starter has a limited automation allowance: up to 50 workflows with restricted triggers and actions. Professional adds up to 300 fully customisable workflows, sequences, forecasting and custom reporting.

The year-one fee

HubSpot Professional has a required, one-time onboarding fee of $1,500. Enterprise has a $3,500 fee. The pricing page footnotes both fees beneath the plan prices. Starter carries no fee in the page's footnotes.

For ten seats on Professional, year one costs $10,800 plus $1,500, or $12,300. The fee adds 13.9% to year one. Year two is $10,800 on annual billing.

WeekCRM's record of Pipedrive's pricing FAQ says implementation is free on plans over $400 a year. The record lists no mandatory extras for Pipedrive.

Monthly billing costs more on both

Monthly billing carries a bigger premium on Pipedrive's lower tiers than on HubSpot Professional.

  • Pipedrive Lite rises from $14 to $24 a seat, 71% more. Ten seats cost $1,680 a year on annual billing and $2,880 on monthly.
  • Pipedrive Growth rises from $39 to $49 a seat, 26% more. Ten seats cost $4,680 a year on annual billing and $5,880 on monthly, a $1,200 difference.
  • HubSpot Professional rises from $90 to $100 a seat, 11% more. Ten seats cost $10,800 a year on annual billing and $12,000 on monthly. Monthly billing still requires an annual commitment.

The step up each plan takes

Pipedrive's jump from Lite to Growth adds $250 a month for ten seats. That step buys the email sync and workflow automation that Lite lacks.

HubSpot's jump from Starter to Professional adds $700 a month for ten seats: $200 to $900. Professional costs 4.5 times Starter per seat. The one-time $1,500 fee comes on top.

Credits: HubSpot's second meter

HubSpot meters some features in credits. Starter includes 500 a month, Professional 3,000 and Enterprise 5,000. The page says credits are used when features take action across the platform. It offers credit packs and pay-as-you-go, but it does not list their prices, so this guide does not price them.

WeekCRM's HubSpot record says the allowance is per account, not per seat. Ten seats do not multiply it.

WeekCRM's Pipedrive record lists no mandatory extras and no usage meter.

Three teams of ten

1. Pipeline and light automation: $200 a month on HubSpot Starter, $390 on Pipedrive Growth. The team tracks deals in pipelines, sends one-to-one email and runs a few automations. It needs no sequences or forecasting.

  • HubSpot Starter: 10 × $20 = $200 a month, $2,400 a year.
  • Pipedrive Growth: 10 × $39 = $390 a month, $4,680 a year.

The HubSpot total is $190 a month lower. The Starter page lists one-to-one email with HubSpot branding removed but does not describe mailbox sync. Confirm that the team's email needs fit Starter before choosing it.

2. Sequences and forecasting: $390 a month on Pipedrive Growth, $900 on HubSpot Professional. The team runs follow-up sequences and needs a forecast. WeekCRM's Pipedrive record lists both on Growth. HubSpot lists both among what Professional adds to Starter.

  • Pipedrive Growth: $390 a month, $4,680 in year one.
  • HubSpot Professional: 10 × $90 = $900 a month, $10,800 plus $1,500, so $12,300 in year one.

The monthly gap is $510. The year-one gap is $7,620.

3. Lead routing and enterprise controls: $590 a month on Pipedrive Premium, $1,500 on HubSpot Enterprise. The team routes web-form leads to owners and needs pipeline approvals and deal splits. WeekCRM's record lists lead routing on Pipedrive Premium. HubSpot lists lead form routing, deal splits and pipeline approvals only on Enterprise.

  • Pipedrive Premium: 10 × $59 = $590 a month, $7,080 in year one.
  • HubSpot Enterprise: 10 × $150 = $1,500 a month, $18,000 plus $3,500, so $21,500 in year one.

The monthly gap is $910. The year-one gap is $14,420. The Pipedrive sources here do not say whether Pipedrive has pipeline approvals or deal splits, so this scenario prices only lead routing on Pipedrive.

Where each one is cheaper

  • HubSpot is cheaper for a team of ten that needs only pipelines and up to 50 restricted workflows: $200 against $390 a month.
  • HubSpot's Free plan is cheaper for two people: $0 for up to 2 users. Pipedrive Growth for two costs $78 a month, and Pipedrive has no free plan.
  • Pipedrive is cheaper once the team needs sequences or forecasting: $390 against $900 a month on Professional, before the $1,500 fee.
  • Pipedrive is cheaper for lead routing: $590 against $1,500 on Enterprise.

What to check before you sign

  1. Starter's billing term. The page shows $7 and $20 without naming the term for each. Confirm the price at checkout.
  2. The onboarding fee. Confirm the $1,500 Professional fee on the first invoice before you budget year one.
  3. Credit use. Count the actions your workflows and agents take each month against 3,000 credits on Professional.
  4. Pipedrive's live price. The vendor page did not load on 7 October. Open pipedrive.com/en/pricing on the day you budget. Older comparison sites quote retired plan names.
  5. Commitment. HubSpot's monthly option on Professional still requires an annual commitment. Check the term before you choose billing.
