Pipedrive Pricing Explained (2026)

Pipedrive's rebuilt plan lineup starts at $14/seat/month annually, but the Lite-to-Growth step and monthly billing penalty decide what you really pay.

Every dollar tracks a seat, and nothing else

Pipedrive is refreshingly boring to budget for, and that is its most underrated feature. There are no contact tiers, no record limits, no metered API calls, no per-transaction fees. You count the people who need to log in, pick a plan, and multiply. The number you calculate on day one is the number on your invoice in month eleven.

Compare that to HubSpot, where marketing contact growth can raise your bill without anyone approving it, or Zendesk, where AI resolutions bill on volume you cannot forecast. Pipedrive's model puts the cost entirely under your control, and for a finance team that is worth something real.

The one variable is add-ons. On Lite and Growth, LeadBooster (chatbot, live chat, prospector, web forms) and Projects are separately licensed. That is the only place a Pipedrive bill can grow without you adding people — and even then, it only grows because you decided to buy something.

The Lite trap

Pipedrive advertises from $14, and that number does a lot of marketing work. What it buys is narrower than most people assume.

Lite has no full email sync and no workflow automation. It is a well-designed visual pipeline with lead and calendar management attached. For a solo consultant tracking twenty deals, that is genuinely enough and $14 is a fair price for it.

For a sales team, it is not. Working your inbox inside the CRM and automating follow-up are the two things sales teams buy a CRM to do, and both live on Growth. The practical consequence is that teams who sign up on Lite to save money upgrade within a quarter, having spent the intervening months with a tool that does less than the spreadsheet it replaced.

Treat $39 as Pipedrive's real entry price for anything resembling a team, and treat $14 as the solo-operator rate.

Growth to Premium is arithmetic, not judgement

The step from Growth to Premium is unusual among CRMs in that it has a clean, calculable answer rather than a philosophical one.

Premium bundles LeadBooster and Projects, both of which are paid add-ons on Growth. So the question is simply whether the add-ons you would buy cost more or less than the $25 per seat gap. If you want inbound chat capture and project tracking after the deal closes, Premium is straightforwardly cheaper. If you want neither, the gap buys you lead routing, AI email tooling and e-signature — nice, but rarely worth $25 a seat on its own.

Ultimate at $79 is for teams with permission complexity: multiple regions, deal visibility rules, or an admin who needs to lock down what reps can see and change. Small teams almost never need it.

Worked example: annual versus monthly at three sizes

Growth plan, the tier most teams land on:

Seats Annual billing Monthly billing Cost of not committing
5 $2,340 $2,940 $600
20 $9,360 $11,760 $2,400
50 $23,400 $29,400 $6,000

That penalty — a flat 26% on Growth, and a steeper 71% on Lite — is among the harshest annual-versus-monthly gaps in the CRM market. Pipedrive is clearly pricing to push you onto an annual commitment, and unless you are genuinely uncertain about the tool, taking it is the obvious call.

Suits lean sales teams, punishes anyone who needs more than sales

Pipedrive is priced for the two-to-fifty-rep B2B sales team that lives in deal stages: agencies, consultancies, outbound-led SaaS, anyone whose revenue process is a pipeline rather than a funnel. At Growth you get a capable CRM for less than half of HubSpot Professional and roughly a fifth of Salesforce Enterprise, and the setup takes days rather than weeks.

It punishes teams whose needs extend past selling. There is no marketing automation platform, no help desk, no CMS. Bolting those on through integrations works but pushes total tool spend up, and at that point the bundled economics of HubSpot start looking better than the line-item savings on Pipedrive. It is also a poor fit for complex account hierarchies and post-sale customer success motions, which is a product limitation rather than a pricing one.

Pipedrive re-tiered its plans recently and prices move; everything above reflects Pipedrive's published lineup as of July 2026. Check Pipedrive's own pricing page before you commit, particularly if a comparison site quoted you the old five-tier structure.

What the pricing page doesn't show

  • There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial. Unlike Zoho CRM or HubSpot there is no permanent zero-cost tier to fall back on if budget disappears.
  • On Lite and Growth, LeadBooster and Projects are separately billed add-ons. Buying two of them onto Growth can cost more than simply moving to Premium, which bundles them.
  • Monthly billing is punishing. Lite goes from $14 to $24 a seat and Growth from $39 to $49, a premium of 26 to 71 percent for the flexibility of not committing.
  • Pipedrive restructured its plans in late 2025. Older reviews and comparison sites still quote the retired Essential, Advanced, Professional, Power and Enterprise names and prices, which no longer match what you will be charged.
  • Email sync is a Growth feature. Teams that buy Lite expecting to work their inbox inside the CRM find they have bought a pipeline viewer and need to upgrade almost immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pipedrive have a free plan?
No. Pipedrive offers a 14-day free trial with no card required, then it is paid. If a permanently free tier is a requirement, Zoho CRM covers three users indefinitely and HubSpot covers two.
Which Pipedrive plan should most teams buy?
Growth at $39. Lite is genuinely limited — no full email sync and no workflow automation — so most teams that start there upgrade within a quarter. Growth is where Pipedrive becomes the tool people describe when they recommend Pipedrive.
Is Premium worth $25 more than Growth?
It depends entirely on the add-ons. Premium bundles LeadBooster and Projects, which are separately billed below it. If you would buy both anyway, Premium is cheaper than Growth plus add-ons. If you would buy neither, stay on Growth.
How much does Pipedrive cost for 10 users?
On Growth billed annually, $4,680 a year. The same team on monthly billing pays $5,880 — a $1,200 penalty for not committing. Lite for 10 users is $1,680 annually, Premium $7,680.
Why do older reviews quote different Pipedrive plan names?
Pipedrive rebuilt its lineup in late 2025. Essential became Lite, Advanced became Growth, Professional and Power were merged into Premium, and Enterprise became Ultimate. Any source still listing five tiers is describing a structure that no longer exists.
Is there a seat minimum?
No. Pipedrive sells from a single seat on every plan, which makes it unusually workable for solo operators and two-person teams compared to CRMs that impose minimums or price floors.
