Zendesk Sell Pricing Explained (2026)
Zendesk Sell lists four plans from $19 to $169 per user per month, but the product has quietly slipped off Zendesk's main pricing page — worth knowing before you buy.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sell Team | $19/user/mo | per user/month, list price | Lead, contact and deal tracking; Sell Voice calling and texting; mobile app |
| Sell Growth | $55/user/mo | per user/month, list price | Full sales toolset with advanced forecasting and analytics |
| Sell Professional | $115/user/mo | per user/month, list price | Task automation, lead and deal scoring, advanced permissions and roles |
| Sell Enterprise | $169/user/mo | per user/month, list price | Multi-department features for teams with advanced sales requirements |
| Zendesk Support (paired) | From $19/agent/mo | paid yearly, separate subscription | The support side of the unified customer record most Sell buyers actually want |
What you are really paying for is the pairing
Sell is priced per user per month, with no contact caps, no deal limits and no usage meters in the headline figures. On paper that makes it one of the simpler CRM price lists in this directory: pick a tier, count your reps, multiply.
The complication is that Sell's whole value proposition is the shared record with Zendesk Support — and Support is a separate subscription starting at $19 per agent per month paid yearly. A ten-person team that wants sales and service looking at the same customer is buying two products. Model it that way from the start or the budget conversation goes badly in month two.
Team is a trial, Growth is the plan
The $19 Team tier gets you lead, contact and deal tracking plus Sell Voice. What it does not get you is forecasting or meaningful analytics. Those arrive at Growth, $55, and for most sales organisations the ability to forecast is the reason a CRM exists. Treating Team as a real destination tier usually means running your pipeline maths in a spreadsheet alongside the CRM, which defeats the purpose.
Growth to Professional nearly doubles the price for task automation, lead and deal scoring, and advanced permissions. Scoring is the deciding feature. If your reps work a high-volume inbound funnel where prioritisation is the bottleneck, $115 pays for itself. If you run a low-volume, high-touch pipeline where every lead gets worked regardless, you are buying a ranking system for a list you already read top to bottom.
Professional to Enterprise at $169 is aimed at multi-department sales orgs. Below roughly 50 reps across two or more teams, it rarely justifies the $54 per user per month delta.
Cost at three team sizes, Sell only
| Reps | Team | Growth | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $1,140/yr | $3,300/yr | $6,900/yr | $10,140/yr |
| 20 | $4,560/yr | $13,200/yr | $27,600/yr | $40,560/yr |
| 50 | $11,400/yr | $33,000/yr | $69,000/yr | $101,400/yr |
Add Zendesk Support at the same headcount and the twenty-person Growth scenario moves from $13,200 to roughly $26,400 a year before any add-ons. That is the number to compare against a standalone CRM, not the $13,200.
The disclosure problem
Zendesk publishes exhaustive detail for its service plans: per-agent rates, the paid-yearly qualifier, add-on prices, feature-by-feature comparison. Sell gets four numbers on a product page and a link that routes to the service pricing table. We could not verify from Zendesk's own published material whether the $19/$55/$115/$169 figures are annual-prepay or month-to-month rates, whether seat minimums apply, or what Sell's add-ons cost.
That is not an accusation of hidden fees — it is a practical warning. Get the billing term, any minimum commitment and the telephony credit model in writing during the sales call, because the website will not answer those questions for you.
Who it fits
Sell is a genuinely good buy for one specific customer: a sales team at a company already running Zendesk Support, where reps regularly need to see a prospect's ticket history and support agents need to see open deals. In that context the integration is native, the setup is fast, and the combined cost is easier to defend than stitching a separate CRM to Zendesk with middleware.
It is a harder sell everywhere else. As a standalone CRM at $55 per user, it sits in a crowded band against products with deeper ecosystems, and its reduced visibility on Zendesk's own pricing page is a reasonable thing to weigh when you are committing a sales team to a system for three years.
Prices and packaging shift. Verify current figures at zendesk.com/sell and ask directly about the billing term before you commit.
What the pricing page doesn't show
- Sell and Zendesk Support are separate subscriptions. The unified sales-and-service customer view that justifies Sell means paying for both, so budget from $38/person/month at the absolute floor.
- Zendesk's main pricing page now covers customer service, employee service and contact centre only — Sell pricing lives on the product page, which does not spell out billing terms, seat minimums or the monthly-versus-annual difference.
- Sell Voice is included, but call and SMS minutes are consumed from a credit balance you top up. Heavy outbound teams treat telephony as a separate monthly cost.
- The jump from Team to Growth is where forecasting lives, and forecasting is the reason most teams buy a CRM at all — treat $19 as a trial price, not a plan you will stay on.
- Zendesk's service-side add-ons are priced per agent on top of the plan; if you extend into the wider platform, assume the same pattern applies.
