Bird moves email conversations from a single labels list to dedicated folder and read fields. Threads now return folder (inbox, archive, spam, blocked, sent or trash) and read status. Labels are reserved for your own custom tags.
API users can list threads by folder with folder= and filter by read_state=read or read_state=unread. Deleted conversations move to trash. The new POST /v1/email/threads/{thread_id}/restore endpoint brings back threads that have not passed their trash deadline or the mailbox's retention period.
Replies can now add Cc and Bcc, each capped at 50 merged addresses. Bcc recipients stay out of visible headers and the per-recipient list, which now tracks only To and Cc. Mailboxes also get a separate sender name for outgoing mail and a dashboard display_name.
