Bird now supports WhatsApp coexistence. Businesses can connect an existing WhatsApp Business App number to Bird and keep using the app on their phone. Bird published the change on October 8, 2026.
During setup, teams can also choose to import contacts and recent chat history. The import is optional, so a number can connect without it.
