Bird is now listed in the ChatGPT and Codex plugin directories. Users install it and sign in to their Bird workspace. After that, the agent can send email, SMS and WhatsApp messages, manage sending domains and phone numbers, and check message delivery.
The announcement gives example tasks. An agent can set up a sending domain and list the DNS records to add, send a test email and confirm delivery, and investigate why emails to Outlook are bouncing. It can also draft replies to unanswered support inbox messages and audit a domain's email authentication.
