Clio has acquired Page, a Kitchener-Waterloo company that sells AI-powered government relations software. Clio announced the deal at ClioCon in Boston. The deal closed this month and is Clio's ninth acquisition. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Page's 12-person team is joining Clio. Clio plans to add Page's horizon scanning technology to its platform over the coming months. The tool tracks new laws and regulations so legal teams can prepare before requirements take effect. Page will keep serving existing clients on its current product.
Clio serves more than 400,000 legal professionals. Its latest legal trends report found 85% of legal professionals now use AI, up from 79% last year. BetaKit reports Clio also revealed a reimagined AI platform with agents that coordinate client and matter work.
