A 10-person team pays $590 a month for Copper. That is the Professional plan, ten seats at $59, paid annually: $7,080 a year before tax. Basic costs $230 a month, but workflow automation, bulk email, reporting and integrations start on Professional.

Three things move the bill from there: the contact limit on each plan, the billing term and the features that only Business includes. Below are all three plans with numbers, and three teams of ten that pay $230, $590 and $990 a month.

The seat price

Prices from copper.com/pricing, checked on 26 October 2026. They are in USD and exclude taxes and fees where applicable.

Plan Annual billing Monthly billing Contact limit What the plan's list adds
Basic $23 per seat $29 per seat 2,500 Task automation, pipelines, project management, contact enrichment
Professional $59 per seat $69 per seat 15,000 Workflow automation, bulk email, reporting, integrations
Business $99 per seat $134 per seat Unlimited Email series, custom reports, multi-currency, premium support

For ten seats on one plan:

Plan Annual billing, per month Annual billing, per year Monthly billing, per month Monthly billing, per year
Basic $230 $2,760 $290 $3,480
Professional $590 $7,080 $690 $8,280
Business $990 $11,880 $1,340 $16,080

No plan is free. The page says "Start free, no credit card required" and puts a "Try free" button on each plan, but it doesn't say how long the trial lasts. Copper's help centre also describes a Starter tier that the pricing page doesn't list, so this guide doesn't price it.

Every plan has one per-seat price, and the page shows no cheaper seat type. The page states no seat cap or seat minimum.

Basic's list has task automation, which Copper's Professional list sets apart from "workflow automation". Bulk email, reporting and integrations also appear first on Professional's list. A team that buys a CRM for automated follow-up and reports should price Professional.

Contact limits: 2,500, 15,000, unlimited

Each plan has a contact ceiling. Basic stops at 2,500, Professional at 15,000, and only Business has no limit. The page doesn't say what happens when you pass a limit, so ask Copper before you import a large list.

The totals below assume all ten seats sit on one plan; the page doesn't say whether plans can be mixed.

  • Basic to Professional: 10 × ($59 − $23) = $360 a month more, $4,320 a year.
  • Professional to Business: 10 × ($99 − $59) = $400 a month more, $4,800 a year.

A team that imports 3,000 contacts has already outgrown Basic. A team with 20,000 contacts is past Professional.

Annual versus monthly billing

Annual billing is cheaper on every plan. The saving per seat per month is $6 on Basic, $10 on Professional and $35 on Business.

For ten seats that is $720, $1,200 and $4,200 a year. The page advertises "up to 26% off", and the Business gap matches: $35 of $134.

The page doesn't say whether annual billing is charged up front or how cancellation works. Ask before you pick a term.

What Business adds

Business costs $400 a month more than Professional for ten seats. Its list adds unlimited contacts, email series, custom reports, multi-currency and premium support.

Premium support appears in Business's plan list. A line in the comparison table says it is for "eligible Business & Professional annual tier accounts". Ask which plan gets it before you pay for it.

If your team needs none of these, and stays under 15,000 contacts, Business adds cost and nothing you use.

Three teams of ten

1. Pipelines and tasks only: $230 a month. Ten people track deals in pipelines and follow up by hand. The database holds about 1,500 contacts, under Basic's 2,500 limit. Nobody needs workflow automation, bulk email, reporting or integrations. Ten seats × $23 = $230 a month, $2,760 a year on annual billing.

2. Automated follow-up and reporting: $590 a month. The same ten people want workflows to trigger follow-ups, bulk email to customers, reports for the weekly pipeline meeting and integrations with other tools. The database holds about 8,000 contacts, so Basic's limit rules it out, and Professional's 15,000 covers it. Ten seats × $59 = $590 a month, $7,080 a year. Paid monthly, the same team pays 10 × $69 = $690.

3. Large database and custom reporting: $990 a month. A sales team with 20,000 contacts is past Professional's 15,000 limit. It also sends email series and reports in several currencies. It needs Business. Ten seats × $99 = $990 a month, $11,880 a year. Paid monthly, the bill is 10 × $134 = $1,340, which is $350 a month more.

What to check before you sign

  1. Contact count now and in 12 months. Compare it with 2,500 and 15,000. Ask what Copper does when you pass a limit.
  2. Features by plan. Match your automations against the plan lists: workflow automation, bulk email, reporting and integrations on Professional; email series, custom reports and multi-currency on Business.
  3. Billing term. Annual billing saves $1,200 a year on ten Professional seats. Ask what is charged up front and what happens if you leave early.
  4. Onboarding eligibility. The page offers personal onboarding to eligible Business and Professional annual accounts. It lists no fee and no eligibility rules.
  5. Gmail on all ten seats. The pricing page describes Gmail and Google Calendar sync, and the sources here give no price for Google Workspace licenses. Confirm that every user can use the email sync before you count ten seats.
