Bird's Verify product can now send passcodes from an SMS Sender ID or WhatsApp number in a customer's workspace, rather than only from Bird's default sender. Users pick a sender per channel under Configure > Channels and can override it for individual destinations on the Countries page. Verification requests themselves do not change.

For SMS, the Sender ID must be registered and permitted for authentication messages in the countries served. If the default Sender ID cannot be used in a destination, Verify falls back to Bird Verify. A country-specific Sender ID gets no sender fallback; if it fails, Verify moves to the next channel in the verification plan.

For WhatsApp, users select a connected number and an approved authentication template from its WhatsApp Business Account. Verify inserts the passcode into that template.
