HighLevel now sends a single confirmation for a whole recurring appointment series, instead of one per occurrence. Custom recurring appointments created in-app, which sent no notifications before, now get confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and reschedule and cancellation notices.
The changes are live with no setup. They apply to newly booked and edited appointments. Reminders and follow-ups still go out for each occurrence.
For custom recurrences, reschedule and cancellation notices follow the option chosen in the change: "This appointment" notifies for one appointment, "All appointments" sends one notice for the series, and "This and following" sends one notice for reschedules. Default recurring appointments are unchanged.
Custom recurrence notifications can also show the pattern, such as "October 14, 2026 12:00 PM (reoccurs every Thursday)". Templates need the appointment date and time custom value. Workflows are not affected.
